Cardio Exercise

Cardio Exercise for your Heart

Cardio exercise involves just about any activity that gets your heart pumping. Once your heart rate reaches a certain point you know that you will reap the benefits of your workout. Many take our cardio exercise for granted but you can get in a pretty good routine that works your heart throughout the day.

I believe that you have to keep a balance between your mind and your body. If you have a job that requires a lot of mental effort but very little moving you will find yourself out of balance in a short period of time unless you add some cardio exercise into your daily routine.

I can already hear the sighs followed by, “I don’t have the time” and I’m sure that the last thing that you want to hear is that you should make time. I know because I hate when someone tells me to do the same. A person simply can’t make time, at least not in the literal sense.

What a person can do is make little changes on a daily basis that will provide the cardio exercise that is necessary for a balanced lifestyle. I’m not talking about jogging to work or anything so extravagant. I’m merely making simple suggestions that will get your heart pumping.

Cardio Exercise and Daily Activities

I always wondered why on earth we park as close as possible to buildings, take the stairs and use a riding mower to trim our lawns. You can fit in some great cardio exercise if you choose to walk a little further (not miles, mind you) or take the stairs. Why skip these daily activities only to go home and get on your treadmill or stepper when you can do it naturally?

We all know that cardioexercise will probably make you break a sweat and I do believe that you should fit an actual routine into your weekly schedule. The good news is that your cardio exercise routine only needs to be repeated three times a week and it only needs to last for 20 minutes at a time.

Considering that this is a grand total of an hour in a whole week, there is little need to “make time” to accomplish this. The little changes that you make on your daily routine will only enhance the cardio exercise you complete in your driven workout.

Getting an hour of cardioexercise in each week isn’t quite as easy as you may think but once you get the hang of it, it will become second nature. You might even find yourself adding a little time for an additional workout after awhile. The first thing to do is not giving up then the habit sets in and I can tell you it is way easier after 2 weeks. Use some common sense and patience in your cardio exercise and you will reap the benefits in no time.
